Astrolux SL01 - Smart bike light review

Astrolux SL01 https://www.banggood.com/custlink/GvvchhSaQQ (affiliated link), or go to Banggood and search for ID: 1966569
The Astrolux SL01 has the following specs:

I tested the SST40 LED: @5400K and it has a CRI of @63
Easy install, easy to remove and insert after installation. Uses a screw for tightening. Press the thumb lever to release/insert the light.
USB-C for fast charging and for remote control switch (sold separately)
Wide flood beam with hood to prevent blinding people (anti-glare prevention).
You can see the hood in action.
Smart mode. Light sensor to activate flashing mode if brighter than 100lux or 500lm standard mode <100lux. It also has a motion sensor that puts it to sleep after 120s of no activity and instant smart mode if it does sense motion.
You can attach the SL01 on the back, but this light is marketed as a front bike light.
Pros:
  • Budget friendly
  • USB-C fast charging
  • Not cool white (personal preference - cool white is more harsh on my eyes)
  • Easy mounting/removal and the light can swivel 360 once mounted and the mount itself can be rotated 360 (loosen screw and rotate mount) once mounted.
  • Smart mode and anti vibration is pretty cool!
Cons
  • Hood could stick out more?
  • No USB-C Out (for charging devices)
  • Doesn't include the remote switch :P
  • Low CRI
  • Built-in battery

Smart mode demo removed due to flashing sensitivity concern.
