Battery ID

Hello,

I pulled these cells from a laptop battery pack, can someone tell me what brand they are and the mah? They are a dark pink/light purple in color, 18650 size and work in my Keygos M10.

They all say IC1FJT5 on the first row, and the second row are numbers that are all different on each cell.

Thanks

Do you have a picture of the positive terminal.

They’re Sanyo, might be anything from 2100mAh to 2600mAh.
Easiest way to find out would be mAh rating of battery pack (e.g. 4400mAh = 2200mAh cells in 2P config inside, 7800mAh = 2600mAh cells in 3P config, etc).

Ok, then no pic from the top required. That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. As Shadoww said just look on the pack and look for a Wh or Mah rating.

Here is a pic of the positive end. Also would like to know if they are protected or not. Thanks!

What is the Wh or Mah rating on the pack and how many cells came out of it? With that info you can find their rating. If I had to guess they are probably the 2600 ones as I have some very similar ones that are 2600.

Here is the label that was on the battery pack. There were 6 cells in it.

I'm guessing 6 batteries? If so then the batteries are 2200 mah.

UR18650FM (2600mAh ones) have blue top.
Those seem to be old UR18650F’s, they’re rated 2200mAh minimal / 2300mAh nominal.

Yes there were 6 cells in it. Is there a way to tell if they are protected? I measured them at 71mm long. Thanks alot for the help!

No, they’re not protected, obviously. You’ll never find individual protected cells in laptop battery packs.

Ok thank you all very much for the help!

Oh is that how you can tell the difference? I thought that just depended on when they were made. I had purchased some of them from Intl-Outdoor and they were red top. :) Whatever, they do well enough in my lights.
