I have a litany of builds and purchased lights I need to take beamshots of.
I’m going to start with a few I did tonight.
Testing grounds.
Circled in red is a reflective marker that is 240 yards away.
All photos are locked to the same settings.

Daydream 7070 4500k
Thank you! Great pics. Can you tell us where you purchased these emitters?

Thanks @James_C
I purchased my Daydreams from GooFish store through Superbuy.
Here is the link.

But you can get them from Jackson at JLHawaii here.

Thanks, that m0bc and starfish looks sexy

Thanks Billy! They are 2 of my favorites at the moment.
When I made the copper spacer for the quad M0BC, I didn’t make it tall enough, so I used a 3.5mm thick piece of 23mm watch crystal for the front glass.

Standby for beamshots of the NV1010 4000k 9080.
16.5mm x 7070 gasket modified to fit DDH M4C host.
I plan on reflowing the nv1010 to a 32mm mcpcb.
ETA: I was able to successfully reflow the NV1010 to a 32mm 110110 mcpcb.
ETA again: Installed into DDH M4C.

As promised, beamshots of Convoy NV1010 4000k 9080 in DDH M4C.
Air quality was terrible. There are wildfires in Canada, Colorado and more local to me.
There was also mist in the air.
Which location do you guys think is better?
Wide open, or under the overpass?

FFL5009R 5000k 3v compared between 2 different hosts.
FW1A Pro left, S21E right.
FW1A Pro appears less warm, I’m assuming because higher intensity due to larger/deeper reflector.

Very nice photography!
I don’t think I’ve heard of half these hosts or even some of the emitters. This could be very useful for reference.

If you have a 6V 5000K FL5009R, does the tint differ between them? I’ve noticed my 3V samples are right on the edge of being a bit green, but it does look a bit lower DUV behind the DM11 narrow TIR than my FW1A pro (with green arc glass).
Don’t have 5000K in NTG50 to compare, only 4200K in 3535, 5050, and 7070 (FFL). The NTG35 5000K seems pretty close to my 219B 4500K D200 (bin iirc), they seem quite a bit warmer than 5000K. Nothing like the FL351A 5000K I got about two years ago.
Unfortunately I don’t have one in 6v.
No NTG50 in 5000k either.
I do have a few NTG50 in 4200k though. Those are great

LHD7016 4500k in a Starfish Z3 host.
This is my first try with this 7070 emitter. I’m really liking it.
Now I just need something similar in 5050 format.

Try the ChangDa 5050 (SFN43) series in 3000K. I don’t know why those are rated at 3000K but I’m sure you’ll like them.

Funny, I actually have some on order!

I think the Daydream wins.
