EDC, almost everyone who has put a 14500 in the G10 has had the driver go *poof* very quickly, so have not done that. Look here

There is no lube to speak of on the threads , so taking of and putting the tail-cap back on is a little rough [ Dry ] , but a little lube quickly smooths things out . Warning ! I'd buy the UltrafireU20 instead, same size and style of light, and no issues with 14500's.
