Take a look at the Convoy L21A(with SFT40) and Wurkkos TD01C.
They are both 21700 lights that throw far.

I love 21700 cells as well.
If you want a lot of throw with some usable spill, the most practical emitter is the SFT40.
The larger the reflector, the more throw you should get.

I agree with @INeedMoreLumens. The Wurkkos TD01C (mind the C!!) is an excellent thrower.
