Best alternative to Olight UC charger?

Olight has discontinued the UC charger.

Trustfire has the UC10 and Nitecore the LC10.
I guess Folomov also had something.

I am not sure if these are versatile as the Olight charger, though.

thanks for the options… but fwiw those are LiIon chargers only.

The Olight UC worked with Eneloop also. It has been rebranded but still made by Olight

available, (price is higher), from FourSevens USB Flex Charger (Li-Ion & NiMH) – darksucks.com

Shoot, why did they do that!? Very handy little charger and it’s what I use at the office where slow charge time is fine and it helps to keep the Lithium Fearful people unaware. I wonder if Olight is going to introduce a new version or if this is a final act of moving totally away from standard polarity cells.

Handy as it is, I think that $22 price from FourSevens makes it a nonstarter.

Charging an Eneloop with my UC charger right now as a a matter of fact. Very handy. I had the Folomov a few years ago. Did not like it as much.

I wonder what charger IC is used in the Olight UC, my search for Nimh/li-ion charger IC hasn’t been fruitful, my use case would be for integration in a flashlight driver but making a simple USB charging board with magnetic lead isn’t complicated, Like this very barebone one for example
Or maybe they use two charger ICs, one for NiMH and one li-ion with some logic to choose between the two depending on battery voltage.

$32 shipped for me

I wonder who manufactures for FourSevens/if Olight will keep producing for them or if it is someone else

They have 894 in stock

It depends how you are using the Olight UC charger.

26800? XTAR SC1 Plus

Found this, while not as compact it is definitely reasonable in price

Any other chargers similar which can charge both Nimh and li-on?
