Best and cheapest 26650 sourcable in the EU?

Cheers!

I am looking to replace some of my 26650s (KingKong 4Ah, Basen 4.5Ah, Liitokala 5Ah) - but with what?
I usually buy my LiIons from nkon.nl, but the selection of 26650s is quite slim and compared to 21700s they are absurdly expensive.

Is there a cheap source in the EU for 26650s?
Are there even cheap and good 26650s out there?

I assume the format is quite unwanted since 21700s are so cheap and have basically the same capacity, but I have quite some 26650 flashlights…

Thanks!

This is true unfortunately, the options are quite slim.

If you’ve long enough cell tube, you could use a 21700 and adaptor (think I bought some from AliExpress or Convoy, perhaps Kaidomain… But I’ve not used them in a long time.

The last 26650 cells I bought were from Vapcell store - I forget if I went direct or through AliExpress, they were delivered to the UK without any fuss though.

On AliExpress a lot of sellers don’t ship to germany and none to switzerland, also I fear fakes which wouldn’t be a nice thing since most of my 26650s draw quite a lot of current.

On top of the relatively high price, the 26650s on nkon.nl are 15A discharchable at the max. Then I could just use 18650s with an adapter and get more amps.

I will 3d-print myself a 26,8x71,5mm cylinder and test out if some of my lights accept 21700s. They are so insanely cheap, it’s just incredible.

I have printed some adapters, I would say around 50% of my 26650 lights accept 21700s - that is good enough as it means I don’t have to buy new ones for now.
Thanks for the idea!

I’m using quite some 26650 li-ion batteries in my flashlights. My reccomendations should be to buy a Shockli 5500 mAh or a Vapell K6200 battery as both are quite the best 26650 3.7V batteries avalible. Both are avalible at AliExpress, but ensure you get them from the official Vapcell or Shockli seller to guarantee you’ll receive a proper one.

The Shockli’s I’ve got in use for about 4 years. These were 5600 mAh 4 years agon, and they still are the same capacity according to the VP4SL charger.

The K6200 I’ve only got for about a year and these had a capacity of about 6200 mAh, and also have not lost any capacity over the year.

I’m using these batteries to power some scuba lights. Discharge current is about 5A. Charging is done in a VP4SL at 1A. (I like to charge li-ion slow)

Edit: When you want to purchace your batteries at Arjan (Nkon.nl) I would estimate that the 26650 5500 mAh cell below is a rewrap of the Shockli cell as there are not that many 26650 5500mAh factories in the world
