I agree that there are something wrong with a numbers.

But you can actually get what brightness you want, even moonlight (from what I read).
The HC50 top strap is removable.
Any headlamp without a top strap is not going to have the same support as one with, no matter how tight.
You'd have to do the side straps up harder for increase in normal force and friction with your skull in order to compensate and simply is not the same as a simple strap in tension.
Don't expect to be jumping around and have a stable headlamp in such a setup.
I have ordered this light, its a wonderful deal. For those who like warm white its a 7C tint. They also have a XP-G2 version for more throw. The Crelant data numbers are wrong but the switch with infinite brightness system is a pleasure to use.
Worth many times the extra money over cheap unreliable no-name headlamps, especially if you can’t mod it.
All Crelant 18650 flashlights are not regulated. Lack of fixed mid mode isn't really a problem when you can adjust brightness but 0,3A and 120lm on lowest mode is quite a lot for a headlamp.

Ended up buying this headlamp. Used it for a couple nights so far. I definitely like it. Better than any other one I’ve ever had. The price was definitely right. The strap itself is good quality. A little small for me big head Haha. I don’t know if it comes in any other tints but I’ve found for what I’musing it for( which is spotting fish in 3 feet of water) warm white is not the best. Next time I’d go with the brighter white tint but besides that I’m a fan
Just picked up a crelant ch 10 from the mail today , bought from the ali express link, it’s a real nice headlamp and all, but oddly on the bezel part it’s written XP-L2 led headlamp. Must be a typo or is there such an emitter? The emitter has the 2 small wires and the white border like a XM-L2 . Don’t know how to post a picture or I would
Yeah man I got the same one from the same place and mine also says that. I just looked past it since the headlamp was so cheap and I truly love it. I use it every night. The tint helps me to see in the water clearly. I also like that when the battery is drying it blinks. I love that it’s just hi low setting and strobe is only if you double click. All around great headlamp
