Have just picked one of these ltd editions up and wondered what owners are using 14500 battery wise in theirs.
Anyone using 16340’s would appreciate their views too.
I’m using the Nitecore NL147 14500 that I bought from Fasttech . No problems with it. Also tried Trustfire Flame, which was OK too, but I prefer the Nitecore. Haven’t bothered using it with a 16340 cell.
Thanks for the reply.
I have used AW’s mostly in the past and having not bought a new torch for almost 2 years wondered if his batteries were still considered the best around or were there better alternatives. Have looked at the Nitecores you suggest but can’t seem to find any reviews of them.
+1 for the NL147
I use them in a V10R.
May have to try some of the Nitecore NL147’s and perhaps get a couple of the black label AW’s too.
Will be ordering the batteries on Tuesday along with a S10 Baton so feel free to pitch in your views prior to then.
Thanks.
Thanks for that, very informative.
Thanks, excellent chart.
A little late to the party here, but just get anything with a Sanyo UR14500P cell in it. Keepower, Orbtronic, Intl Outdoor, etc.
What he said. ^
Or you can get the real deal here: http://www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10002603/1287511-authentic-sanyo-ur14500p-14500-840mah-li-ion-batte
I own a pair of those from Fasttech. Just remember those aren’t protected batteries and the V11R Mirage supports AA batteries, so it probably doesn’t have low voltage cutoff for 14500’s.
