Best source for genuine Panasonic Eneloop AAA's?

Need to buy new batteries for my Panasonic DECT Cordless Phone System. Where’s a good place for genuine Panasonic Eneloop AAA’s?

IKEA.

I get Eneloops either at Amazon or eBay, depending on which is cheaper at the moment.
I don’t live near an Ikea, otherwise I would go there. :+1:

Don’t have an IKEA anywhere near me and shipping kills the deal.

If buying from Amazon, look for ones that Amazon sells, not “fulfilled” by Amazon.

Price hurts a bit, but they should be genuine.

Thanks, all! Ordered a 10-pack of white 2100 Cycle 850mah eneloop AAA’s sold/fulfilled by Amazon for $19.78 shipped via Prime that will be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully, they’ll be made in Japan - not China…

One last question - I’d like to upgrade the old basic Sanyo charger that came with the eneloops that I purchased from Costco way back. Am looking at the Opus T-C3100/BT-C3400 Series and also the Vapcell S4 Plus. Which of those would be the better choice or do you have other recommendations? Have a XTAX VP2 for my 18650 & 26650 cells but thought I’d get a dual-chemistry charger that would do both, if needed plus recondition, etc,

Maybe I am not a good one to ask… I have lots of different chargers. I always thought that dedicated NiMH chargers are the best for NiMH cells. SO I have used the Maha chargers. I have three MH-C9000 chargers and a MH-C808M charger. They do a great job for me and have for many years. I think the newest one of the batch is 8 years old. I got the 808 because it charges “D” size cells which I use in my modded MAG Lights. I have lots of NiMH cells, so the ability to test/refresh/charge 20 cells at once with the 4 chargers is valuable. But they are not dual chemistry chargers. BTW, the models of the C9000 that I have are superseded by the MH-C9000PRO. I haven’t actually tried one of those. I do occasionally use my Vapcell S4 plus V2 for NiMH cells and it seems to be OK. The newer V3 model seems to get good reviews on BLF.

I prefer the Maha dedicated nimh chargers. IMHO, charging nimh batteries on multi chemistry chargers is not as good. The Maha chargers have a cycle discharge feature that maintains Eneloops very well.

Yes… The break-In function is the best thing I have found for refreshing/ repairing NiMH cells. It takes like 40 hours for higher capacity cells though. But it works well.

Just bought the same pack last week. Seem legit, Japan made, embossed date. Worries about fakes too but they weight the correct amount too (they should all be close to the same weight).

I used a Maha charger before I switched to Li-ions and gave it away before the last time I moved.

After my Xtar charger started trying to charge my NiMh batteries like they were Li-ions or failed to finish charging them I thought I’d buy another Nitecore charger until I thought about buying another dedicated NiMh charger. I ended up buying a pack of 4 Eneloops with a Panasonic charger for less than the cost of a decent multi chemistry charger.
