Hi BLF, a newbie question here “What is the best/recommended way to ask questions, specially when questions that might have been addressed directly or indirectly over single or multiple posts?
For example, I have some queries on recommendation for 14500 and 18650 cells. What I have done, is to post the questions separately in existing threads, here for the ”14500 questions”:what's the highest capacity 14500 cell?, and here for the 18650 questions
Question is What you think is the best way to post these questions (e.g. post them as new topic?), in order to have higher chance of catching attention of BLF community?
Also, how would you keep track of the responses, especially for topic that was started by you? (apart from the email notification)

Existing threads are usually only good if you already find your answer. If you look for cells, just open a thread and ask about both sizes.
Oh, and please stop posting blue.

Yeah, I think its distracting. I like black on white, or white on black, but colored.. seems weird. :)
Colors come in handy when you reply to a long quote or to emphasize something. JUST LIKE CAPS LOCK, I MEAN YOU DONT RUN AROUND SCREAMING AT PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, DO YOU?

I tend to do a quick search if I want to know something, if I dont find it, I open a thread. Then I'll get some answers. If people think my thread is stupid, it will slowly move to page 2 and be forgotten.. ;)
Doubt that would be the case for you. But that’s a hilarious way of putting it!

To answer your question about keeping track, there are a number of ways other than email notifications. I usually tend to use “Recent Posts” but you can use My Subscriptions too. This also shows number of unread comments.
Try grouping related questions together in a single thread, just a suggestion.

Hmm.. That must be dinoboy.. Rumor says he came from China to Germany, ate kreisler (a respected member here), and moved forward to USA. Maybe he's after you now? 
The same rumor says that kreisler's last words are captured to dinoboy's signature. Don't know if that's true.
