I used a bench supply set to 4.00V, it can supply up to 30A. I held the leads from the power supply onto the driver contact rings with one hand and worked the button with the other one. My supply has a built in current meter, but you could use an external meter.
I seriously doubt that my sphere is off… the driver current measurements back up my lumen numbers rather well.
Wow! This light is tiny!
I just compare her with my TN30. Looks like she will out throw and out flood TN30 inside a small room. And she is much smaller than TN30 without the handle.
The finishing is amazing! No regret for me for not getting TK75.
Ya, I have ordered it. Thanks.
I was thinking should I spend money on holster, what if the light is not really worth the protection. Now I am so glad I ordered it yesterday.
Did you have any issues when using the longer than usual 3400 protected raised top cell? I have many eagletac 3400 which dont fit in my Tm11. Just wanted to make sure they work in the terminator… Btw my first post but been lurking around for quite a while since the changes in cpf.
Not bothering if that’s all it will do. It’s rather annoying that they’ve claimed 3500 ANSI lumens when it’s this far off. I know the 3500 was a stretch but with the TN31 doing over 1000 it was remotely possible?
If we’re going to have to not believe these Chinese ANSI rated lights and they’re willing to lie about that, then I think we should not buy from that manufacturer until they get the message- don’t rip us off by using legit means of measure to validate a light when you know it’s false!
If you look at the paper in the box, it states 4000 lumens.
Temperature rise very fast indicating good thermal path from LED to outside, I think she is driven hard enough. It might be possible to get 3500 or 4000 lumens when ambient temperature is very low. I am not sure.
Nice!! I like the handle, lockout feature negates parasitic drain and accidental turn-on. The low-lumen switch boot is a really cool feature too. Looks like a nice step up from the Apex 5T6 which I have been happily using over the past year or so. Very close to the nighteye 40 for a lot less dough.
