Just got this yesterday from Illumination Supply and immediately installed 4 Sinkpads in place of the stock 16mm MCPCB’s. Had to trim them down, I only had 20mm Sinkpads available. Now, I might mess with the sense resistor.




Have you any concerns with the sinkpads shorting, now that you have modified them? It may be the angle but there doesnt look to be much space there between the terminal and wired points and the body of the host.
Yes, I did have to trim them a little more. But they center inside the holes and there is ~.5mm space all around. They can’t move. Its good to go.
There’s a review here somewhere that I think has some measurements.
I did forget to mention this T70 is now the king on the shelf. This thing throws out a beam like nothing I have. Its quite impressive.
I wonder how this T70 would do up against the Imalent DDT40…. I mean, now that my T70 is on the DTP program, that sense resistor inside is looking more and more like its going to get a twin plopped on it.
