I’ve been EDC’ing the BLF-348 clipped to my T-shirt pocket since day one. Today I reached for it and clicked it on for an inspection of my coffee machine and
NADDA…no light, nuttin’
Natural instinct is to look at the business end (which I did immediately) and lo and behold the entire bezel had come unscrewed and LUCKILY emptied into my T-shirt pocket… Seven pieces to be exact.
Needless to say I reached for a drop of Blue Loctite for the bezel threads before re-assembling
Might wanna save your self some grief and add a drop of Loctite. Lucky as heck to have the whole assembly empty into my shirt pocket… :innocent:
Bezel unscrewing is not a regular problem on SS light.
But bad clip and no holes in the tail makes this flashlight almost useless as edc. It is very slippery and tries to goes out from every pocket.
As for bezel unscrewing not being a regular problem, It won’t happen anymore.
And if I remember correctyly, 1000’s of these have been sold to and loved by our Forum members.
I bring a little stainless tube light in my pocket anywhere I go that I don’t have my S2+. Super small, I practically forget about it until I need some light.
You could always epoxy on the clip and/or a lanyard if you wanted those attachments. My grandfather did on his, it’s ugly as sin, but works.
