I really like the size of the S2 Ric!! 15.5mm?? That's thinner than an ITP A2.
And what's wrong with the gift box guys? People complain about not even getting a cardboard box, let alone a wood one. If the lettering bothers you, just glue a very small picture of you and the gifted person together and you're good to go! I imagine it's a very small box anyway! I'll take the shipping protection!

In my case, it's the difference between fitting in the mailbox and having to go to the post office to pick it up. Since I'm living out of a suitcase anyways, I'm just glad it's a small light, nevermind the box.

If he spends the cost of the box on the next light and doesn't try to squeeze I want the cost of the box spent on a better driver or a nicer tint or something important .. not something silly I'll save in the closet for no reason .Make boxes available for people who want them .. guess what ...only 1% will want one for a couple more bucks 99% have no intrest
I agree but if leaving box out takes effort, I don´t mind a buck or two.
My BLF logo'd AAA version arrived today, it's tiny!
The box is so small, I didn't realise it was a torch, thought the wife had been shopping again.
The BLF logo is a very discrete engraving, wouldn't have known it was there if I wasn't looking for it.
Lovely firm clicky action, usably bright on a NiMh.
Came with a spare lense, and 4 tiny keyring loops.
I like it. I think I need the AA version too.
However, I didn't receive the stainless steel claw which I paid the extra for.

received my S1 AAA light today, that was quick! Someone mentioned small? Yea! Package was very small. Wasn't sure which light was arriving as I had several coming. It's a beaut! As someone had already mentioned the engraving is minimal, use a magnifying glass. I'm glad for that honestly. Yes, the clicky is robust! And the 'claw' is terrific, glad I ordered it, it's a gem in itself. Looking forward very much to the AA, S2 when it comes along.

I received mine couple of days ago. I like it! I do wish that the switch was NOT so recessed inside. Anybody know if it can be adjusted? There is extra switch included but no instructions on how to change it.
Certainly one of the classier light that I have. If you like shiny things, do not let this slip by.

First reaction is it's to small and slick ..hard to use ..It's a bad AAA light because it's so smooth and so small...BUT when you attach it to a keychain and give it an anchor it's a super little light .:) Tint on the neutral is very nice .It's bright enough and has a nice mixture of flood and still retaining a pretty good hot spot .I suggest it very highly to all flashaholics who are looking to upgrade their keychain lights with something nicer .Having a heavy 30$ light on my keychain was tacky and tiring.. this is a perfect lil light for the job ...i'm definately going back for a spare and a few to gift as well ..I can't find a dang thing wrong with it .I like the fact it's a bit harder to turn on ..A little bit important for a pocketed light .
one of the best lights I've bought in a while ..it's a keeper and earns a Boaz recommends :P
