bugsy. Simple over sight. You might be correct but it was overlooked as this was discussed earlier in the thread and agreed upon looks wise and function wise. Copper sheds heat better and these guys like to supe things up and get em hot! And as said before the ss was more on mind as a tough long lasting “tool box” light. If I didn’t share an account with my wife looking over my shoulder I’d be ordering a few sets!

Absolutely stunning. Only thought I have is I’d like to see knurling match head to body/tail with it all being as aggressive as the knurling seen on the head. Purdy please!

You guys are doing some amazing work with this project!

Yup! Loved the idea, still love it, great work guys! Flashlight porn pics, I have to close my laptop quicker around my wife looking at these pics than the real thing probably with all my lights I have already…

Awesome!

Fallout has nothing to do with lead in copper btw

Sheesh, its a production sample, calm down mike lest/twintowers, I mean bugsy

I haven’t been following this thread, but I’m calling dibs, here! That copper pill sends this customization to the moon for me.

In my opinion the SS/Cu set is shaping up Very Nicely!!

Love the SS/Cu combination in the X6-SE v2!!!

Do we think there is any possibility for Xmas lights on these?

Thank you very much for checking.

Please add a pair of SS/Cu//Cu lights, to the previously requested pair of aluminum lights.

2017

Possible, but I hate to promise. I don’t want to rush this.

Definitely by then

Wild. Never thought I’d see anyone complain about upgrading a heat sink from steel to copper.

Don’t stick your neck out to far

Well, project time estimates were optimistic when Manker seemed to be getting fast results on the A6… but those estimates took a turn for the worse after seeing the A6 QC issues. The plan is to prioritize “getting it right” over “doing it fast”.

Any chance the threads could be made to match the EE X6-SE?

As far as I’m aware, that’s the plan. One of the project requirements is to make the threads match the original X6.

Yes…the threads will definitely match the original X6/X6-SE

So what were the bad points anyway Dale?
Do the sample threads match the X6 SE?

I couldn’t get it to roast my coffee beans in stock trim, working on that though.
