BRINYTE XP22-Good build quality out of the box design!

Thanks David for offering his professional use experience and improved suggestion~

“I purchased the XP22 because it had an interesting design and I wanted to see how durable and compareable it was to other lights at the same price point. For example the Odin Mini or the Streamlight protac as they also have rechargeable options. As mentioned this has an outside the box design with two lamps. I happen to have a A2 fixed front on my upper and thought it might be a good fit for a top rail mount solution.

It was very slim and fit just fine. The sight did not interfeir with the throw of the lamps. With the switch placement it wasnt uncomfortable either to accuate with my thumb but didnt feel completly natural with the placement of the switch at the tail. I also mounted it on the side. Even though it seemed to be better mounted on top with the dual head, it was actually more comfotable to accuate from the left side rail since I run a full quad rail gaurd. I acuate the light with my thumb. The throw on this lamp seems very nice as well. I have attached photos for reverence. im not sure if the dual head helps with that or if that is because of the focus of the beam and the way it was designed. Either way, good throw!

I removed the lense cap as I wanted to see if this could also be “serviced” by swapping lenses and or LED lamps. I found there is a seal on the lense to prevent moisture which was good. I did notice that at the bottom of the cap there was no o ring to prevent moisture coming in the other end. In most situations, rain, snow etc it would probably be fine and not damage the internals. Id obv advise against submersing it in water. Maybe in future revisions this o-ring can be added, I dont believe it will be an issue for most though.

The charging placement is in the front which is nice as you wont have to remove the light from the rail to charge it. It is however a smaller magnetic contact pad. Something I would like to see is maybe the pad can be a little bigger for a stronger magnetic connection on the bottom of the light. The light could then maybe be removed via a locking lever for ease of use and charging.

This would look similar in fasion to a HOLOSUN 510 or 515 locking lever. Slim, to keep the lights footprint small and non intrusive to any grip or switch accuation. This would make for quick removal and installation, and retain ease of charging.
Over all, I think this is a high value light and it seems to be built pretty sturdy. I did drop it upon opening and while it wasnt from a high location, it did not mar easily nor did the coating take any damage. I think this could be used out in the woods efficiently as well as Airsoft events. The strobe works very well too which is a big plus! Over all for the price this seems to Make it a good competitor. My cretiques are not negatives or reasons not to purchase, but rather enhancment suggestions I would like to see on future revisions or different models BRINYTE might come up with in the future."
