Did you read Richard's quick review of it? Here: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/22440/6888
Not sure why you are quoting voltage levels of shipped cells, sort of irrelevant.
- squeaky threads I don't consider a problem, or quality issue - assuming it's the tail cap threads? When you replace cells? Other threaded connections are many times not anodized and not lubed
- Again for the o-ring, depends which threaded connection, but doesn't sound good
- switch not level sounds bad - might be fixable, hard to say, can't visualize what's goin on. For me, a quality, reliable, good feel switch is important
- blue light dimness Richard noticed
- the lens having fingerprints is a whole lot better than the reflector - as long as you can remove it and clean it -- still, a sign necessary care was not taken in assembly
- Richard noted the lack of supporting long 26650 cells. Personnally, I'd never use a protected cell in this kind of light - not recommended. The perfect cell for this light is the LiitoKala, and that probably fits this light fine. Others like the BASEN and EFEST 4200 IMR are good too. The KeepPower and Fenix are definitely the wrong cell for this light.
- Richard noticed the bright flash as well - hhmm, sounds like a driver issue
Dunno what to suggest. Kind of personnal decision. I'd contact Richard first though with this list and see what he thinks. The bright flash and switch issues is the most important things in my opinion. Actually I'm kind of surprised Richard would sell these with that flash problem. The switch problem might be only on your one piece.
