the relatively tiny fire here in Santa Fe is now 8 miles from the city.

The city lies South West of the fire, which is presently moving south east.

The 2,500 acre fire is 2 miles away from the Santa Fe Ski Area atm.

a containment boundary is being staged for backfires to prevent the fire from moving south, into the foothills east of the city.
