I bought a Camping Lantern Enclosure SKU: S008885 from KD more than a year ago thinking it would fit My Solarforce L2s as thought its the same with the Solarforce lantern attachment but it did not fit. Saw an Ultrafire that have the same lantern so I bought a 501 but again it wont fit, Just realized its likely for the Ulrafire 502 version, could anyone confirm this?

FYI. mine doesn't have the tripod hole in the side.
It screws onto an UF 504b host......and mine doesn't have the tripod fitting either.
I'm glad it went onto the 504b because it tailstands very well.

I don't think you'll have luck with a 504 either. It really is a 501 of some sort... Probably a little "out or specs" (if such thing even exist in budget segment).
Maybe I really have a defective item, not worth the risk of adding more lights I really don't need. have to many P60 host now.

No......I've tried it on a couple of 501's...doesnt catch the threads. 504b it screws on quite well.

I understand but can we be really sure it will work for the other one with the tripod hole? There is a chance but with chinese budget market cloning of clones with all that diminishing returns that are quite plausible you cannot be 100% certain. Just being cautious here.
A bit academic really......no one seems to have 'the other one' with the hole (I suspect that one was the first release, but it's been cheapened by leaving out the hole).
Tas62.... which 504 b and where and when did you buy it ?? Vectrex said the same thing ..his fits his older probably real version of the 501 ..my guess is the 501a's are fakes ..i wonder if it fits the 25$ t6 ultra-fires new on dealextreme .they look to be real to me .i think some of this is complicated even worse buy mixed parts ..I think I have a real c8 head bad mid tube and cheap tail ..why do I say that ? the tube screws in the head very oddly till you hit the final threads and the head it'self seems nicer overall ..i have 2 of these ad have decided to NOT throw good money after bad ..they are a stupid buy ..and probably don't work worth a dang anyway .

I don't know if they changed the threads on the "enclosure" or on the UF 501b/SF 501c . But mine does fit on both... very irritating.

Hi, Tried it again in my Solarfoce L2m(fake) and the threads fit on about 1.5 turns and my Old L2 with 1 whole turns, the batteries rattles inside. Is this the same with yours? It seems that the 504b is same with the L2.
Actually I think my 501 is fake.
Mine screws on ~3 turns..no battery rattles. On my (KD) SF L2 it fits..just. Strangely enough it also fits a very dodgy (TMart) 502b...quite well.
