Can i substitute 4 LR44 cells for a 6V 476A battery?

I suspect thats whats inside this battery, its for a wireless doorbell and is called a 476A battery on mine

Yep. Its also called 4LR44

4 SR44 has a higher capacity,should last longer.

Do note that the positive end on a LR44 is flat. Might need a folded bit of metal to make contact in the device.
