Just wonderin if there are any Canadian based flashlight forums? Can’t seem to find any!? Thanks,Hot Brass
Wait! So this isn’t the Canadian based flashlight forums (CBLF)? No wonder I’m so misunderstood here. ![]()
I think it would be aboot the same as BLF with “Eh” on the end.
You know, by law, all residents of Dog River have to own two flashlights. One with throw and one with flood.
Stop picking on my fellow Canuck eh?
No one was picking on HotBrass. There were over 60 “reads” and no replies before I got here and since I didn’t know the answer, I thought the least I could do is try to be entertaining while we waited. Plus I made reference to one of the best TV shows ever that just happened to be produced in Canada. I, in fact, enjoy many Canadian things like flannel and maple/pork products. Heck, I don’t even mind Canadians from Quebec… unlike some members here. ![]()
That came out wrong. Sorry.
It always comes out wrong on the forums.
No worries, BIGWOOD. It came out the right way; that’s why my reply had the stupid smilie at the end. I knew your reply was lighthearted. I always assume it is all in good fun unless it is explicitly hostile.
You are right about it always coming off wrong on the internet. Almost every ridiculous thing I type gets taken the wrong way. I guess my wife is right. I’m not funny, just funny looking.
eh? I always thought it sounded more like aye (mebbe that's Maine). Living in western NY state all those years and being in Canada many times, I was always surprised how a couple hundred miles made the accent so different.
Of course, I only saw Ontario province, didn't get anywhere else up there, but Toronto scared the bejezus out of me. That was way back, almost before cars and toilets, LOL, but it was still the craziest driving I ever saw.
I think BLF is a multi-cultural, multi-national forum, so there's enough room for Canadians too.
i completely agree with you . more then enough room for everyone (except iran/north korea and whats the other one …lolzzz)
Fartybum’s 1st link led me to the Bearded liberation Front. Nice, but it doesn’t measure up to the Tactical Beard Owner’s club. But what was even more interesting to me was that the [Mercer County (WV) Airport](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercer_County_Airport_(West_Virginia’s) designation is BLF. How, exactly did they get “BLF” from “MCA”? Only in WV. BTW, most beautiful state in the union, imho.
Don’t make the mistake of judging the population of a country by the behavior of their governments, I’m sure there are a percentage of good people wherever their from.
On the BLF thing don’t know why I didn’t think of this on earlier BLF = Best Long Fart

no need to isolate us Canadians! BLF never picks on us so it’s all good! come on in the water’s warm
1. Saying all Canadians sound the same is like saying all Americans sound the same. They are two fairly large countries with a few local/regional dialects. ![]()
2. WV is a beautiful state with some of the nicest people I have ever met.
3. I could never get into Corner Gas. Just didn’t do it for me.
4. BLF airport = Bluefield, WV
5. I haven’t been able to find any Canadian flashlight forums. Since I discovered BLF, I stopped looking for others.
^ What do you mean you don’t like Corner Gas? That’s just crazy talk! CG ranks right up there with the Coupling (UK), Top Gear (UK), and Northern Exposure (USA).
I guess I should have researched the airport more before I spouted off.
I am a pretty proud Canadian but we have the worst tv shows ever. Every few years there is one that doesn’t suck as much but for the most part they are really bad. Top Gear (UK) is really good. The American version not so much.
I wholeheartedly concur, the american version of Top Gear is unwatchable.
Man…. this post is going waay off topic….alll I did was ask if there are any Canadian Flashlight Forums!. Thanks Hot Brass
