I think I know a little bit about circuits and resistors. EMPHASIS on the words LITTLE BIT
I know that on the pictured TP5000 charger board (red one) the resistor marked R100 (0.1 ohm) sets the maximum charge amps. As pictured with the R100 the maximum charge rate is 1.0 amp. To decrease the output to 0.5 amp (1/2 amp) the resistor would be changed to a single 0.2 ohm R200 resistor. I think I have that resistor numbering right. Please correct me if I have messed up.
The other tiny charger board (green) is a DD08C. It is much smaller than the pictured TP5000 board. As pictured that board puts out a maximum of 1 amp.
Question 1: Am I correct to assume the resistor marked R250 is the sense resistor for the TP4056?
Question 2: To decrease the charge rate to 0.5 amp (1/2 amp) would it be correct to change the R250 resistor to a 0.5 ohm (R500) resistor?
I want to reduce the charge rate for a smaller capacity cell for a potential project and I would like to use one of the DD08C size boards.
Thanks for the assistance.
