I’m not into Chinese knives but this seems to be a good deal for those who are. It’s a Sheffield 3 in. folding knife, model #6018. Selling for $5 at Walmart. The only Chinese knives I have are a few Sanrenmu 763’s that I bought after you guys said they were a good knife and they had stopped making them and a .99 cent Columbia that I bought from Wallbuys during a sale.
While in Walmart I noticed they had a lot knives for the Christmas season with lots of good deals. Knives by Gerber, Kershaw, and others in the $5 to $20 price range. Lots of the packages included flashlights. After looking at them all I decided to try this one out. Construction is on par with the Sanrenmu, perfectly centered blade, strong clip, all metal construction including scales, liner lock. Seems to to a very nice knife for $5.
Yeah I saw a bunch of the “gift set” knives on my last Walmart trip. I bought the Kershaw one last year. They were manual versions of two of thier assisted knives. Good beaters. They have a Kershaw black wash assisted knife now, that I was meaning to research for $20. A decent looking SOG folder as well as a SOG Kukri which I think were both $20. Thanks for the reminder!
The Sheffield looks to be a near clone of the Enlan M-020. There seems to be enough difference to make me believe that Enlan did not make the Sheffield. I have the Enlan and it is a nice knife. The “spidey” hole on the Enlan is round. My knife has an all black blade.
