I am buying a tap on ebay. it's for threading the tail cap threads (Bendix Besly 5/8-28NS), on the mini mags. The seller shot me an e-mail that he can do 5 of them total (including the one I am taking), so four of them remain, at a price of $5 each plus actual shipping (first class shipping, so less than $3 each).

They are listed as new other, meaning out of package and old stock. Link to the one I was getting. but he said if he sold all five, the price would go to $5 each.

If four of you guys are wanting to get one, we could get them for a good price.

I did not think of it in that respect, nor did I think of producing and 1AA lights or mini's.

Not from me. I don't even want to go there, but as a Mag guy, I just gotta have a tap, in case of emergency. Wink I am really a 1D guy, not a 1AA guy. Been there, done that.

For me this is one of those “it’s so cheap, I’d be remiss not to” deals. I don’t even have my own tap wrench yet. The rare chance to buy this tap size at this price is the motivator :bigsmile:

I know that, my friend. I’m just busting your balls. :wink: Those taps are really a godsend and $5 is a great price for them. I think after shipping and all mine cost me around $13 shipped and I had a hell of a time finding them in the first place. I got mine from Huron Industries. I also got a lot of my milling bits from them. Great prices.
