What exactly is discord?
The discord “experience” is a bit like facebook if it was entirely private groups. At least that is how it felt to me. You could open a discord, about flashlights or whatever, and post pictures or live stream video etc and your followers can all comment and respond etc.
I only used it for about a year, so my experience may not be representative of the whole of it. For fun I used to use a portion of my extra funds to trade stocks and crypto coins. Mind you I said “trade” and not “invest” as they are really not the same. One of the guys I would follow who was a half decent trader, didn’t necessarily make a lot of money doing it, but he was fun to play the game with because he would make very large trades. Learning how options trading works was interesting I thought.
It’s different. Discord is a more of a linear real-time chat. Usually there’s no central role with followers, but just members of a channel.
