Cool. The “new-H60” looks nice. I love bright shiny colors.
There are some cool colored SIPIK lights out there.
I own the 501B military green. Bought it from Manafont. Not good threads, and the button sticks out a little so it can not tailstand. But cool light… There is a Shiny blue WF 501B host available at DX for 6.40$ :heart_eyes:

btw, I just used DX for most lights since they have a huge selection of lights. And colorful lights are not that common.

I put my favorite drop-in with a Nichia 219 in it and use it every day (night) when walking the dogs. I swapped out the thin switch cover.

I really like the looks of it the blue host. My green camo 501b have guite bad threads and stock it would turn on when i pressed the tailcap against a table. I modified the button though, so its a little bit more “recessed” and will not turn on accidentally as easy (hopefully never now).
Is the the tailcap on the blue 501b host the same way?

Mine won’t tailstand at all, especially with the new cap. The threads seem okay though. Looking at it today, some of the anodizing is getting knocked off by different dings, probably from being in my pocket with other stuff (I try not to put it in my pocket with keys, but it looks like that kind of damage).

I just ordered some red, green, blue, pinkish ones so I can tell what lights have the red, green, blue, and IR dropins. Need more colors for the 365nm, 385nm, and 395nm UV dropins…

I ordered a couple Sipiks and the Blue 501B host last month (from DX)

Aurabuy.com seem to have most of the colored lights that dealextreme.com have. Difference is, you can easily sort them by color.
Also, the colored Sipiks are a bit cheaper…

That New-117 actually looks kind of interesting. Looks like two switches on the tail cap and the description might hint at one being for mode change if my translation skills are up to par.

DX has a number of “coffee” colored lights as well. I like the color but the light mostly don’t move me.

I have received the blue 501B from DX btw…It is nice and shiny. But darker than in pictures.

EDIT: Was going to place order for the red one. But shipping was not free. I had to pay extra for registered shipping.

Found the same lights on ledsupermalls so ordered one there since shipping was free

Its strange there are no white high gloss flashlights. Something that could match modern kitches, white Apple products etc…
