Compare and Contrast Headlamps Skilhunt H150, Zebralight H53Fc N, Emisar D2

The Skilhunt is
2 grams heavier, and
4mm longer
has last mode memory
has tailmagnet
AA/14500 w magnetic charging for LiIon
beam is slightly more focused
optic has no glass and can not break if dropped
LED is 4500K 519a (pic shows DeDomed)
easy to open to DeDome
easy to remove mcpcb for an LED swap
driver has Regulated output and constant current to the LED
NoPWM, very low Flicker Index

The Zebra is
slightly lighter
slightly shorter
no memory
no magnet
AA only
frosted lens is glass and can break
LED is 4000K 519a
difficult to open to DeDome
extra difficult to LED swap
driver does Not Have Regulated output on H1 w eneloop
uses Modulation on some modes, not constant current, higher Flicker Index
No Anduril

Emisar D2:
3gm lighter than the Zebra
17mm longer
yes memory (optional)
yes magnet
14500 only
glass over Optics can break
LED is Dual Channel, choice of LEDs
can not be openened, but can be ordered with DeDomed LED
can not be opened to LED swap, but is built with choice of LEDs on request
driver has Regulated output
uses constant current, very low Flicker Index
The UI is Anduril

Really?

thanks!
Zebra does not have regulated output on H1 w Eneloop. H2 tends to drift down w battery also (chart thanks to TimMc):

Here is the H150, regulated on Eneloop, chart thanks to zeroair:

Have you looked at the vertical axis?

The skilhunt doesn’t have anything comparable to zebra’s h1. Even its turbo is lower and less efficient than zebra h2. Zebra also looks like it gets over double the runtime on m1 vs skilhunt medium. (I see zebra was using eneloop pro - not sure how much of a difference that makes)

I hope the DW3AA ends up happening soon as it would be a good addition to this comparison.

1 Thank

Agree Zebra has the longest runtime. Also agree Zebra H1 is a type of Turbo, an UnSustainable output.

imo Zebra will still beat Dw3AA runtime, at outputs below 10 lumens…

I’m hoping the Dw3AA runtime, above 10 lumens, will match the Zebra.
