Concern About Possible Cell/Battery Removal From Order

Recently ordered another Lumintop Frog light with extras including a 10440 cell as well as the standard 10180 cell. Order still awaiting departure from China.

On checking the tracking for my order, I notice that there may be an issue regarding the (extra) cell as there is a comment in the tracking information about a battery item which is restricted!?

I’ve ordered a lot of lights with cells, and I’ve ordered a lot of cells previously without any issue with delivery and no mention of anything to do with battery restriction in previous parcel tracking!?

I’m a bit concerned that for whatever reason(s) the cell(s) may now be removed from my order?

Should I be concerned about this?

I don’t think so, everything is under control !

Ur going to jail.

Naw Idk, it’s chinese shipping. There was some guy last month, ordered a flashlight, received the side-view mirror for a 2009 Hyundai Elantra lmao

He told the seller and they resent the flashlight.
Nbd. If it shows up without the battery open a dispute or ask them to send another.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I just got mine yesterday had the extension, 10180 battery and a 10440 battery

Thanks for the comments.

Yes, my past has finally caught up with me!!

Apparently the parcel has just been shipped, so I should receive it within a week, all being well.

But what I might do though, on receipt of the parcel, I might do a video recording of me opening the parcel and then checking to see if the cells are or weren’t included. If there are no cells, then the video would be proof that I didn’t receive the cells and I could then contact the vendor to find solution(s) to receiving cells as ordered.

This seems to be something new that the shippers and intermediaries are using. I just saw that note on the tracking for two recent orders, neither of which had batteries in them (!), but it didn’t seem to delay them (or if it did, it was like one day). Both arrived fine. There are several notes-of-restriction that can show up and often, according to a lady at China Post, they don’t mean anything at all. While the delays were so bad during the beginning of the pandemic, I saw several that said something about security exception or “contraband” and what those actually boiled down to was simply waiting for an empty plane so they could be loaded. Kinda nonsensical but it is what it is.

Videoing the unboxing seems so Early-Days-Banggood but it’s not a bad idea just in case.

Thanks for the comment!

As of this writing, the parcel appears to have arrived in the country according to parcel tracking.

To be on the safe side, I will definitely video myself opening the parcel!

Received the parcel today. I recorded a video of me opening the parcel.

The parcel DID contain the 10440 cell (as well as the standard 10180 cell) but was contained within the 10440 body extension tube. Initially I thought the cell wasn’t included, but on checking the 10440 extension tube, the cell was there! Thank goodness!!

Issue resolved!
