Constant Lumens around 900Lm??

Hi Friends,

I am new to this forum and to flashlights as well. I searched pretty much for a flashlight with following characteristics. But unable to find one,

-EDC capable
-Single 18650 prefer
-CONSTANT lumens around 900 (need 1000lm cuz Most of the time I do camping)
-under USD40
-not too hot on turbo so i can hold it in my hand. (Like Manker E14)
-looking for a TUBE model (like S2+, BLF A6/Astrolux S1)
-Not a thrower

Only flashlight I found close to above is Manker U21 (Constant 900lm). But it is bit large for EDC and it is a thrower.

I know being some time here, there are lot of knowledgeable people. I hope someone out here will help me with an answer. Thanks guys, big help.

Now I have Nitecore MH20, MH20GT, EC4SW, Manker E14, Nitenumen NE01

Constant 900 lumens in a tube light without it getting too hot is impossible, the only light I can think of is the larger Nitecore EC4 but you already have it.

A zebralight SC600 or SC63 with PID regulation can keep it at ~700 lumens constant, but surpasses your $40 budget.

Thanks will34. Even I had the same thought in my mind. Just to verify by knowledgeable people like you.

I like S2+ and BLF A6. I am lost between these awesome tunes. May be A6 after all. thanks Will34

I have both - actually Astrolux S1 and I would recommend both lights. I like much better A6/S1 UI, amount of light is quite similar with good cells and 8x7135 driver for Convoy so it really boils down to UI/external appearance and LED choice. XP-L will give you slightly better throw. You could even buy separate BLF driver (with code f65358 for 5:money_mouth_face: and put that into Convoy.

manker u11

Looks like after all A6,

I like Manker U11 but it’s not the form factor am looking since I got both MH20 AND MH20GT.
