Hi!
I have 5 Flashlights and all of them are zoomable  , I want to buy a Reflector Type Flashlight under 20$, The Tighter the Beam the Better
I’m Thinking of Getting UniqueFire HS-802 or Convoy C8
The Reflector in the HS-802 is Deeper Than the C8 so it Should Throw Farther, right?
I have both of those lights as well. The HS802 most definitely throws farther than the C8 when setup with the same led’s. Mine are setup with XML U2 A1 led’s. Most any light with a deep reflector is gonna throw farther, until you start using dedoming led’s then you have a different animal. I bet a XHP50.2 6500 - 7000K, de domed with a 7135*10 driver, in the HS802 host using Samsung 30Q batteries, would be a sweet modded thrower for around $40 bucks. Where do you get your led’s and drivers for your mods and builds?
True :+1: ,
Most of the members at Nightvisionforumuk.com use it Because of its long Range , Any Zoomable with a 4715AS chip is good, But the 75mm lens increases the range Greatly.
actually if you want best throw the 4716AS with a less height dome gets more throw
in lens light the die is not magnifies so much
and in a reflector light more light gets in the hospot as it hits the reflector, not in the spill
i hav both also, the HS802 has a 12*7135 with a sst40 7000 dedomed . real tight hotspot and same distance as the Nitecore P30
A C8 xpl-hi v2 1a with a 12* driver for 15-20 bucks is better value than a std hs802. hs802 is crap without mods and its more expensive to start with
What is better value in my oppinion is my UT02 with resistor mod . More distance /larger hotspot and neutral 5000 tint can actually see clearer further
