T2 have worst driver, and worst battery compatibility, than T3, and that is it.
Don't see any point in doing T2. I thought T2 is there just to sell out what was produced, and is not produced anymore, because the T3 is it fixed version.

Does the T3 body thread into the T4 head? If so, I still may get a T4 because i find the head shape interesting.

No it doesn’t, I’ve asked Simon this question already as I wanted a T4 shorty.
T4 head thread is bigger than the T3.Only the tailcap can fit T4/T3.

I think this will be very popular. About time there was a compact Convoy with USB charging and decent output.
Looks good. May I suggest to use an orange peal reflector with 519A ? it usually looks better than with a smooth one.

If the two flashlight batteries are connected in series.then it needs a dedicated charger.This means that the versatility of the charging method is poor, and the additional charger requires more cost, which is not cost-effective for consumers.
In addition, making a boost drive is actually not a difficult thing for me.
