I’m looking at buying a SBT90.2 thrower, and these two have got my attention.
Apart from these not being the perfect hosts due to their small size, which one would be the better option?
Are there any focus/reflector/gasket issues with the SBT90.2 with the L21A as there are with this host & some other emitters?
Are there any cons with the TS30S pro?
I’m also open to alternative options, but don’t want the 3x21D.

The L21A throws marginally more and is quite a bit cheaper.
Consider getting the SFT90 instead of SBT90.2 in the L21A. It has essentially identical performance but makes the light even cheaper. No reflector/gasket issues because of how big the emitter is.
TS30S is not perfect; it has fast stepdown because of heat generated by this powerful LED, and some ring on beam (not bothersome at all IRL use). But neither is IMHO unexpected from this type of light. I recommend it highly for anyone looking for a SBT90.2 light.
If you want it, wait until a sale. Wurkkos sale occurs often enough and this light routinely goes for $60, making it currently the least expensive SBT90.2 light on the market. Amazing for a 1 km ~5000lm thrower!
I’m a huge Convoy fan but don’t have L21A to comment, but for me, other differences between the 2 lights are important in choosing between the 2: Wurkkos has side-switch, Anduril, and on board USB-C charging. Convoy L21A has rear switch, and no USB-C charging. BTW Convoy L8 has side-switch and USB-C charging, but it’s a much bigger light.
