Benjy, DB Custom, and whoever else; whether it is done in this thread or a separate thread all it’s own… I really wish the discussion of Li Ion batteries would continue. Why you may ask……… because I would like to know once and for all what the truth of the matter actually is.

Whether the person sharing info be a seasoned forum veteran, a newbie, or anywhere in between…… if they know their stuff; I’d like to hear it.
But I’d also like to be able to read references to back up what is said. That in itself would cut down drastically on opinion & BS that is shared. It would also galvanize credibility.

So for those that can back up what they say, I would really like to know the actual science, technology, & chemistry of the rechargeable lithium ion battery. Not just what I have heard or think I know…….

Lithium Ion battery discussion should certainly continue but we’ve spun out long enough for this thread haven’t we?
It would probably help more people if it were moved over to a thread dedicate to the topic like the Lithium-ion battery safety 101 thread.
