Convoy S2+ clip?

Just purchased my first Convoy but of course no clip- Seems like a good light but needs a deep clip.
Any recommendations on what will fit?

On the S2-type hosts you’re a little limited because the groove is so narrow compared to most. If you don’t mind grinding the “ears” thinner and perhaps doing a little bending, then some other clips out there can be fashioned to fit. The bolt-on clip give you the deepest carry for an off the shelf clip. A lot of shops sell Simon’s clips but there isn’t much out there other than those. Keep in mind that the length of the host with a real “deep carry” may be longer then the depth of many pants pockets if you want it on the inside.

there are 2 options, a clip that clips on, and the one that is mounted with 2 screws with nuts, i tried both, the second option is a lot better. however the screws it comes with are pretty small, i had to find my own, a bit larger.

Hmmm. Interesting. But, the badge hanging off of the clip is just something to snag on something, or to scratch walls or cars… Worse than the two way clips, which I kind of hate for that reason.

I recommend just getting the “universal” S2+ clip: universal clip ,suitable for S2 / S2+ / M1 / C8

I have it on all my S2+ flashlights and it works very well.

Some prefer the screwed on “stainless steel” clip: flashlight waist clip ,stainless steel clip ,for new C8,M2,S3

But I’ve only used that on the flashlights that cannot accomodate the universal clip.

Both work very well though.

I like that. Are there one’s without the skulls and shapes etc? Meaning just a bare clip. I don’t mind the Convoy nut and bolt clip but I would prefer it not to have that hole/gap in the middle.

No the convoy clip’s hole goes down all the way. This one is essentially without hole to me, lol. Do they sell any version without those metal pieces like the skull or bullet? I just want a plain one. I don’t see any of that option on the listing…

It would be a nice clip for me, If I could get it without any badges, just plain. It looks like the one you have on the silver colored light to the right in the picture would be better. I did not see the plain ones in the link you posted.

How are the badges attached? Is it difficult to remove them?

The hole is threaded with a 6 torx screw

Which option did you use in the end?

I’m in yourself solution I want to choose the most comfortable.

I was going to buy 4 of each model as they all work on the S2+ and S21A I have the one on the S21E and it fits perfectly on the S21A and S2+ but being double it looks like it can easily slip off the strap.

I thought about using holsters but if I want to carry several it takes up a lot.

The other option is the screws with this model covered all tactical models that do not, as the S21E already include Clip.

I like the S21A double, which is the same as the S21E fits the S2+ and looks stronger arm a little thicker, than the specific model of the S2+ with a thinner spleen.
