I’d love to see a hunting headlamp that uses 3x Osram LEDs: White, Green, Red with range out to 300m for the white and green, even 200m would be nice. It would be something different

this needs a reflector with large diameter

or 3x TIR optics maybe. Even just two colours, white and red

I don’t have a flashlight that needs this driver yet.

On a separate topic: are there any plans for a Convoy that combines the driver of an L7 with the head of an l8? That would be my ideal affordable SBT90.2 light.

This may seem top-heavy.

I don’t know. If you hold it up close to the head, like you do with the L8, then the longer handle would balance it out and maybe make it better balanced than the L8 is.
