This. but scaled up to 21700 or 18650 size would be cool.
On the other hand Lithium cells in series without a balancing BMS is problematic.

Honestly, this is my hesitation on recommending multi-cell lights for most users. Matching cells, charging batteries externally from the light, these things aren’t things most casual users would care to do. Still, having something in a similar form factor to that of a Mini Mag is nice.

I’ve been using flashlights with Li-Ion cells since about 2010.
I’m definitely a flashaholic based on how frequently I post on BLF.
(I even post about flashlights every now and then.)
I don’t consider myself a casual user, but even I don’t get multi-cell flashlights.
For me, it’s easier to use single-cell flashlights.
Plus, I’m not into very large flashlights.
Some 1x21700 lights fit just fine in my pocket, which is what I care about. :+1:

I would love to have a modern version of “maxa beam” or “Mag light D6 " or " Surefire M6”
But a proper BMS with balancing and all would be mandated and the performance should justify the size.

But im not even sure if modern LED/LEP would even beat a Xenon maxa beam by that mush.

i just saw nv1010 in high cri 4000k is out of stock.
NV1010 LED - Convoy flashlight

@Simon_Mao any idea if and when they will be back in stock or even better even lower cct??

What is the inside diameter of the clip ring? Does anyone have an M21H/F/E to measure? Thanks

Black anodising, SS bezel, W5050SQ3 3000K, 2*Vapcell P1409C, good mode spacing and moonlight is something that may interest me, otherwise no.

This led with high color rendering index is already in production.

I will upload a link to the tan and black styles later.

Is there a 4000K (or something in that range) planned for production?

3 Thanks

I will produce 5000 K, 4000 K and 3000 K.

Beautiful!

this seam to be a verry negative Duv… maybe to “rosy” for my tasted. but we will see. i will buy like 10 of them if they become available.

It’s almost on the BBL.
-0.0133 would be very rosy

@Simon_Mao
Do you think you would be able to source EVE G26Q and/or G26E ? these are new 26mm diameter full-tab/tabless cells :
G26Q : 26700, 7.5Ah, 45A
G26E : 26105, 10.9Ah, 109A
(energy density is equal to 5Ah 21700s for both)

I think your 26650 lights are already compatible with this 26800 and 21700 so they would also be compatible with 26700. 26105 compatibility could be provided with a longer tube.

This LED won’t suck… Like… At all!

you seam to be right and i seam to have missed a zero.
My apology’s Duv and numbers with trees zeros in front of the value are somewhat not intuitive to me.
