Most unique knurling I’ve ever seen 
I wonder what it would look like if you did this with a ball end mill, so you have spherical circle pockets, or hexagonal ones if you put them close together.
EDIT - I guess this is what it would look like haha, had to try it out for myself

I think I’ve seen the that type of knurling before - High end exotic EDC's (pic heavy)
I inititally compiled that thread just to ogle but have since used it to reference different ideas, materials and machining.
