cost to send a light to China? Anyone?

Has anyone from the USA returned something to Banggood. If so, how much did it cost?

thank you.

(trying to save myself a trip to the Post Office to find out)

usps.com

USPS.com will tell you, but it’s way too much that is for sure. It costs at least $7 to send even a feather out of this continent. The USPS is ripping Americans off.

I would not send anything overseas via USPS. Very unreliable and if part for tracking they use the excuse they can't track it once it hits the mainland and just say "oh well"

DHL or UPS would probably be about $65 but it will get there

thanks, got it. Don’t know how to delete this thread. Don’t need it any longer.

thanks Bugsy!

Don’t delete the contents, it might be useful for other people.

Sounds like you found out what you wanted, but another option, and I’m not sure if it can be done with an item purchased from their China warehouses, is to ask if you can ship to their US warehouse.

I shipped a small light back to Acebeam (EC32) . You can use 1st class International, the problem is the tracking stops when it leaves the USA, so you end up with no evidence of delivery, and China Post doesn’t seem to be all that reliable inbound, it took a very long time and cannot be insured. The cost was about $22. If you want proof of delivery, you have to use Priority Mail International, and from the USA, that is frankly expensive at about $31 for up to 2 pounds. To be honest it often doesn’t pay to return the items to China. Mail rates to the USA from China are a small fraction of what they are from the USA to China.

I returned an HC30 to Nitecore in China for $13.75, first class USPS. Worked well for me. There was no tracking, but Nitecore received it in 3 weeks and sent me a replacement under warranty.

You can claim the shipping cost through PayPal up to 8 times a year…

I didn’t know that. Thanks!

Hey mate yea its only been around for a year i think. If its there we may as well use it!
