Definitely a scam. Direct, Courui sells theirs @ ~$90 for one unit. This isn’t really a TrustFire light (duly noted in the OP). Even with obscene volume discounting, there’s no way that this could be even remotely profitable.
It’s easy to spot a scammer… always sold cheap items to get ratings and then post something expensive for ridiculous price.
look at his rating and you’ll see… they never sold a flashlight before.
I’d say avoid it like a plague, even paypal will reimburse you… but why add drama to your life?
The crooked Chinese seller managed to sell 111 of these torches before ebay finally suspended his account, not to mention probably the same amount of each of the other 9 items they were selling.
What I can’t understand is these torch/electrical item scams pop up all the time, same country, same pictures, same description, same M O, so why do ebay allow it to continue, are they really that greedy for money/percentage, that they take the chance that this time round it might be a genuine seller.
HOLY F-N CRAP!!! It actually showed up! There was no batteries or charger though. I was not counting on this at all! As a matter of fact I was informed from ebay that the seller was a possible fraud after a few days later. They reimbursed my money back but it was marked as shipped. Should I contact ebay and tell them it arrived? Or should I just keep quiet and enjoy the free torch?
