I only have two posts on CPF! 
I bought a Mateminco MT04 from them, they were pretty good and included a 26650 tube for free.
The tint wasn’t great but that’s just typical sst40 stuff, I would totally recommend them.

AX is short for AliExpress, but I couldn’t find the CPF Lights Store on AX. 
Me neither. AX, AE, Ali… Lot’s of shortcuts.
Anyway, is there any serious competition to Ali? I can remember DX, but I’ve never found anything interesting there. Fasttech is over for some time already. TaoBao is too difficult for me since it requires engaging an agent.

Not really.
You can get some Sofirn lights from their website, but otherwise if you’re ordering flashlights directly from China, Ali owns the market.

It is possible to order directly from China via eBay and Amazon, but I don’t do that very often, especially when I order a flashlight.
It’s a shame, too, because AliExpress’s search engine is one of the worst that I’ve ever encounted.

Aliexpress is just a platform like eBay or Amazon.
There are not many other places, especially for parts. Loss of FastTech is a shame.
Kaidomain still has a good selection of LEDs/parts, they also have a storefront on AliExpress.
For lights, a number of manufacturers have direct sales websites, it’s always worth checking whether the light you want is cheaper on their website or AliExpress.
Sofirn, Firefly, wurkkos and manker have their own websites. Undoubtedly there are others I’ve forgotten.

I guess there’s just about every store name one could think of on AliExpress (not really).
