Creative ways to hold your lights .

Curious if you have interesting places you put your lights or creative ways to clip them onto things (or you ). When I carry a moonmode light into the bathroom or kitchen late at night it seems like many times I'm looking for some place or something to tailstand my light in . I've used a drinking glass but generally would prefer something higher and possibly against the wall . Maybe a small wooden L bracket with a 1 inch hole and a double shot glass or something big enough to accept most of my lights . Any ideas ? http://www.potterybarn.com/products/3947975/

I’m a big fan of magnetic tailcaps, or modded to the sides of lights. I’ve added magnets to quite a few of mine.
Going to the bathroom, stick it to the radiator. Working on a car etc, great there too. Also very handy at work.

I also have small steel plates dotted around to conveniently stick a light to, like hidden under kitchen units and shelves to give a nice handy downlight when needed.
The Olight s10 in the background stays there all the time, set to low/med mode so when i need it on it’s just like pressing a little wall switch for useful light there.

Strange but true

CRX, you’re a true-blue flashaholic with credentials like that :+1:

I was working with an old friend under a house with a BLF 348 held in my teeth. The work took both hands and a few minutes and some drool escaped dripping off the end of the light. My friend commented he’d never saw a drooling flashlight before :person_facepalming: When I got my hands free I replied that I only bought flashlights which were worth drooling over and the rest weren’t worth spit

My BLF348s have all their clips reversed so that I can clip them to my baseball caps for hands free operation.

Yeah but …

What if you wear your baseball caps backwards too ? :stuck_out_tongue:

Sometimes I wear a headlamp around my neck. It’s more comfortable , keeps down the glare and sweating while wearing a headband can be a pain .
