Will the xhp 50 fit in a standard xml tir? If so, im going to be ordering a boat load of them. I can just cut a line down the center of the noctogon pos/neg pads and get 6/12v
^ Not sure it is imbedded in the silicone on the MT-G2. I can peel the MT-G2 dome off the phosphor except in the 3-dimensional area over the die. The MT-G2 just seems to have a weak bond between the die and the phosphor. Also, the MT-G2 phosphor is soft (not hard like the xml's, etc.)
The MT-G2 has the phosphor all across the top of the emitter. The XML's, etc, have the phosphor just over the die (not sure that is the correct name. I mean the area that emits the photons) and the edges are quite crisp. These look the the XML's and such, not the MT-G2's.
its not my dream type of led announcement this… still i can feel the excitement over a new led and looking forward to test data . for sure its better than nothing new.
wow, that is generous! Thanks, Hank. I never made a login at intl-outdoor, if you don't know which of your customers is me, I can PM my address (but there will not be too many intl-outdoor customers from Amsterdam, I guess..)
Hank: Yeah. U want low power, medium power, or extreme power?
Old-Lumens: Hehehe.. Is that a trick question?
Hank: ?
Old-Lumens: Extreme
Hank: Here you are sir. The newest and finest,
Old-Lumens: Excellent. Hey, what`s that little bugger doing there?
Hank: ?
Old-Lumens: Nevermind. Gonna build a couple of new Maaaaglite`s.
Hank: One of each emitter then?
Old-Lumens: *Gives Hank his dumb look. With the eyebrowns and everything. "Hell no! Give me those big ones. Heck, just give me.... THREE of each one. The big ones, not that skinny fella.
I indulged myself in a Christmas Mouser order on my girlfriend's credit card (I don't have one). Included is a XH-P70 . ETA is sometime after Christmas. I will have to improvise a board for it and find some time to abuse it with the power supply.
