1. Once again Crelant ported the UI from their other 7G2,3,5,6,10 lights. The only problem is, without a secondary physical switch, you're going to have the light turn on every time you put in batteries, and you're going to be subject to parasitic Drain. (I had really hoped that Crelant learned their lesson in releasing the dud mtg2 7G10... I guess not, but lack of sales should convince them eventually.)
2. Big & Heavy - it's not a headlamp, just a flashlight with the reflector moved.
3. No way it's constantly bright.
4. This is the deal breaker to why I will never buy the light - the button is not recessed.
While I do plan on getting 1-3 headlamps in the coming months, this will not be one of them.
Zebralight H502 - 78 grams with battery. Currently my only headlamp, although I'm very eager to see an update to the h600, and I would love for them to make a 14500 compatible version H502.
A headlamp imo, should be barely noticeable once you put it on. It's also meant more for up close area lighting - again imo, vs spot lighting things 100 meters away.
You believe what they said, them being the manufacturer of tons of brands? First of all they are not even in Shenzhen area where all these brands are situated and have factories, Maxtoch is in Zhejiang.
I received many good flashlights from FTT, and had good experience with him.
And for myself, i also like to purchase sth at favorable price with high quality, why not?
But to be frankly, if FTT didn’t post their link under other distributors’ thread which directly affected their interests, the distributors will not tell this issue to the manufacturers.
At that time, what the manufacturers can do is to ask FTT to adjust their prices or stop to offer products to him.
If this issue didn’t happened, i believe we still could purchase these good flashlights from FTT, and MAP won’t be so serious.
We could say Crelant, Fenix and…are not wise to keep the MAP policy.
On the other hand, we also could say it is FTT who got the balance wrong himself, I think that’s fair to say.
And actually most distributors are keeping the MAP policy, have you noticed that Olight published an article on their website about asking the distributors to obey to the MAP price?
The difference is Crelant and Fenix happened to met this issue here. :weary:
I saw it several months ago, but maybe it was removed after the MAP issue happened, i can’t find it now. If those who had really paid attention to Olight, he knows it.
Looks kinda throwy, which is what I don’t want!
But anyway, who’s idea was it to put ‘high power headlamp’ written all over the elastic?! Come on…
Sadly I’ve seen this headlamp design way too many times on eBay and DX.
