I’m going on another trip in less than 2 weeks. This time it’ll be Veradero, Cuba.Hopefully I’ll be able to take a day trip to Havana and take some pictures like I did on my Euro trip.
I still don’t know which light to bring at this point.I know it should be an EDC sized as it’s quite warm there. There’s no room for 2 throwers in my shorts if you know what I mean.:OP
Anyways, any special requests?I’ll be taking a crap load of pictures, almost annoyingly too much like a Japanese tourist in a King Kong vs. Godzilla movie.Any sights you like me to capture for the BLF viewing pleasure?I have a few ideas to incorporate BLF someway, sorta like a “shout-out" to the friendly folks here at budgetlightforum.
I”ve always been intrigued simply by the Cuban people themselves. Sure there are plenty of beautiful sights, buildings, and “touristy” areas, but seeing the “underbelly” of the cities, even the tourist cities, has been interesting.
Just take random pictures don’t let yourself go more than 20 mins without taking a picture of SOMETHING!
Yes, I’d like some photos of the inside of their cryptography rooms in their military and secret police headquarters. They won’t mind if you take them…
Migrating data to new laptop and came across these pictures. Totally forgot to upload them. Sorry!
hmm...cigars!
Call me a communist if you must. I love those black and white photos of Che Guevara. Love the story of his struggle.
Wife brought flashlight cause she's terrified of these little cute creatures.
This dog has more street smarts in his left nut than all the dogs in America put together. Ok maybe not all the dogs put together, just the city dogs, LOL
All aboard!
Beautiful. Warning, Crocks lurking under the calm waters. LOL
Capital
Mean streets.
Spanish influences
Book stand at the local park
Random dude with his Cuban chopper!
Oh how I miss the white sandy beaches, warm water, mojitos
Something about smoking cigars in humid weather just makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Of course a glass of dark 11 year aged rum in the other hand is a must.
I brought home some Cohibas as they are my favorites. While I was there I tried as many as I could. My top favorites besides the Cohiba was their Montecristo & Romeo Y Julieta probably because of the name and their references to famous people who smoked them. All in all, they are all made in the same damn factory. Just a matter of taste to be honest. I tried their local brands and they taste awesome too.
