I was wondering if anyone has tried to use a prepackaged switch (instead of integrated) like a low profile cherry mx on a flash light as an e switch.
It seems to me like they would offer a more tune-able feel at the expense of some added bulk. Does this even sound interesting to anybody?
These are momentary, non-latching switches. That means they’d traditionally only be suitable to replace side switch buttons, and would add a huge amount of bulk.
I am definitely interested in the switch feel, i don’t know about extra bulk though.
I was thinking something like the one on the right. 
I’m sure they’ll come out with a clicky version eventually.
