I use this stuff when I want to eliminate the hotspot . I use it on headlamps , short distance flooders , and my bike lights .
I received a few pieces of the DC Fix this week. I put it on a couple lights with mostly XM-L2 emitters to get rid of the greenish corona. The result was actually brighter and smoother than the photos show.
This is a Thorfire VG-10S side by side before and afterā-
A couple Sofirns side by side the similarity to the Thorfire is obvious.
Also a couple different Thorfires side by side one has a warmer tint.

Iāve been pretty impressed how much it knocks out green tints in certain lights . Iāll also been a bit hesitant to sell it as a green tint killer but it did the same thing to my thorfire xpl 4AAA lights .
I think Iām allergic to green ā¦

I love this stuff. Just put some on a Lumintop ODF30 last night. I couldnāt get the bezel off so I had to trim very carefully to fit it from the top. Damn, it really did a nice job of blending the beam and getting rid of some of the green and yellow in the beam. I didnāt use the light much because of the weird colors. Now I will be using it much more often. I didnāt get a before shot but I got an afterward. If someone has a before please post it. I would but it was a pain to get it on the lens and Iām not taking if off and going through that again.
