Dead battery??

Hello fellas,

I recently got a T6 from Simon with a Vapcell battery included.
I’m liking the light a lot, but yesterday I took it and it was giving no light.

Did it lost charge? The light wasn’t dim last tine I used it. I tried to charge the battery and my (cheap but good) charger is not charging it. Please see the image.

The three lights are blinking and that’s it, usually should be showing it is charging.
I tried with another even cheaper charger and it gets a little warm but after 15 minutes it is still producing no light. It is not charging : (

I never charged the battery since I received it, it waa working good and the light has not fallen or nothing.

So, battery simply died, right? That sucks but it can happen.

What do you guys think?

Vapcell H10 sold this year have a high failure rate. Many of them are damaged internally and are unsafe to use, charge or store. Meanwhile the model is discontinued.

Don’t use the battery and dispose it safely at a qualified collection facility.

Damm! Thanks man

That sucks, makes me lose confidence on Convoy’s batteries and Vapcell as a whole. I got this flashlight with this battery a month ago or so : (

I will get in touch with Convoy and will dispose of it then.

"We are very sorry to inform our customers that the H10 battery has been discontinued. We have collaborated with a battery company to produce this battery series, which has low sales and high technical difficulty. Therefore, considering all factors, we will not produce this battery again. However, the final batch of batteries should have a small amount of B-grade mixed in from the battery factory. Our warehouse has strengthened quality inspection and there is still a small amount of H10 inventory left. After processing these goods, production will be suspended. The highlight of this battery is its strong power, but the quality stability still needs to be improved
There will be a new 14500 battery vapcell K10 1000mAh 8A to replace the H10 in the future. The power is slightly weaker, but the price is cheaper and the quality is more stable, which can be used for various purposes. Vapcell company will continuously upgrade its products and improve its processes, committed to providing customers with better products
Customers who have purchased batteries in the past 3 months, please kindly check your H10 battery. If there is a decrease in heating voltage, please stop using this battery and apply for a replacement battery or other ways"

While it took them a bit too long to identify the problem, at least they are being honest about it. Now if the would do something that would allow people to get replacements under warranty…

OTH, I have at least 10 H10 cells and all have been fine. Other Vapcell cells that I have are good too. They come closer to meeting the advertised specifications than other major brands. So while this situation is not good, it seems to be isolated to just one of the cells that they sell.

I doubt that Convoy knew anything bout the problem when they shipped the bad cells

FWIW

Talk to Simon and/or Vapcell. Hopefully you can get the bad cell replaced with a good one.

I got a H10 and a couple of P1409A batteries from Convoy in the past couple of months and haven’t had any problems with them. I was a little leary of a company with a name like vapecell but figured they must be OK if Convoy sold them.
