deal spotting, theres a batch of FWAA available at illumn

thanks to RenFerd for the heads up

FWAA

2 Thanks

I saw this but didn’t pull the trigger because the only LED choice is Cree XP-G3. When I was new to this hobby I bought a Fenix headlamp with this LED and it is pure green hell (among worst I’ve ever seen). Unless the LED here is different, or you plan to switch LED, IMHO this light may not be a good choice.

FYI: There’s only 1 left

No! Kr1aa!

LOL! My problem is when Im waiting for a light, I tend to shop more

so, not only did I just buy a Novatac over the weekend..
(for which I have numerous spare batteries already)

today I bought a pre-dinged Zebra…
(For which I have various excuses.. like, 2 is 1 and 1 is none, right?)

I happen to have a spare Cold Weather Molicel available.. so I might toss this one in the car as a winter backup for my other backup, for my other car light.. LOL!

By the time the KR1AA starts shipping.. I will need to wait for my wallet to recover.. That should give people time to shake out the first run bugs…

From what the reviews say, it only uses 14500’s…is that true? And if so, how does it compare to a ts10?

true
its like a TS10 but w 3535 mcpcb..
but no Aux and no flashing pads

TS10 was built to go beyond the FWAA, and succeeded for the most part (except for the non 3535 LEDs)

I like the TS10 body symmetry better.. to me the FWAA is shaped a bit more like a bowling pin and in cigar grip its less comfortable because the flared body at the head end tends to force my hand back towards the tailcap ridge more.. I find it less comfortable..

I dont think you need a FWAA.. its for people that want a mini FW3A.. mostly a nostalgia piece imo

I figured as much…KR1AA!
