the other day i chatted with Kevin or Chris wtf cares on the Supbeam website chat interface or maybe it was Supfire wtf cares. i told Chris that their brand cannot sell best in our country if they keep the names Supbeam or Supfire whatever it was. i asked him what Sup Beam meant. he answered that it is short for Super Beam.

i thought it was pronounced "sahpp-beem". but Chris told me that the p. is "syuuhp-beem".
i told him that the brand name sucked either way. he thanked me for it and told me that he'd forward my suggestion (to change the name) to the marketing department. so i left the chat.
I always thought it was short for “What’s up?” as in, “’sup girl?”
